Leadership in Supply Chain

Supply Chain CouncilEach year around 10% of Europe’s top 500 companies will replace their Chief Executives, and trends in the US indicate even higher rates of churn amongst senior business leaders. Each new CEO is under tremendous pressure to make their mark and bring about positive change. Many are under scrutiny as leaders of large publicly quoted companies, answerable to a plethora of investors and industry commentators all seeking evidence that the new CEO is pulling all the right levers to improve shareholder returns. As evidence will often be judged over relatively short horizons of perhaps a few months or years, it means that the new leader has little time to demonstrate tangible results.
